Setting a record
If you have set a provincial record you need to submit an application for a provincial record. The record application fee for a provincial record is $75. This fee is waived for Sub-Juniors. Lifters who set multiple records at a single contest are not required to pay multiple fees.
If the record is also a national record, use the application for a national record instead. In this case, the fee is waived in lieu of the $75 record application fee for the national record.
Record application fees contribute to the BCPA's doping control fund.
Note: In order for a record to stand, the record application must be received within 60 days of setting the record.
